July 13th, 2020 The Organization of Canadian Nuclear Industries (OCNI) and the Nuclear Innovation Institute (NII) signed a Memorandum of Understanding today, agreeing to collaborate where possible, on industry innovation projects and on educational programming for students. By becoming a Friend of NII, NII is able to invite OCNI members to offer expertise and resources to help evaluate NII project proposals and to participate in the innovation teams running approved projects.

The NII Coding Academy is an online learning program that introduces students from Grades 4 to 7 to the language of computers. Kids will learn how to code in a fun, interactive setting, with a live instructor to answer questions and keep them entertained. Classes run every weekday from 1 p.m. - 2 p.m. and will be posted afterward in our Google Classroom for those who want to learn at their leisure.
