Radiation has many applications in fields that are beneficial to human well-being, such as energy, agriculture, mining, and space exploration.

Overhead policy: To ensure the majority of funds are allocated to direct research activities, overhead costs for projects funded by Environment@NII should not exceed 10% of the total project funding.

 

Overhead includes administrative support, facilities, utilities, and other indirect costs essential for project administration. Requests to exceed this cap may be made under exceptional circumstances and must receive prior approval.
