The day camp is designed for student going into grades 11 and 12. Solutions to complex problems require diverse views and abilities. Students that are making decisions about their future occupation and learning, and can mentor others throughout the school year.
program will include guest speakers, training in analytical techniques, team building and leadership. Day campers will form teams – identify challenge questions, use their training in leadership and natural inquiry to develop solutions important to them.
A group of 22 talented students showed off their work at the student showcase hosted by Bruce Power, NII, and NPX. Three groups of students also tackled some of the industries' biggest problems during the hackathon and presented their solutions.

The 2019 Innovation Showcase took place at Hotel X, Toronto from May 9-10, 2019. It featured an exciting event co-hosted by Bruce Power and NPX where student teams to joined us for an exciting two-day Hackathon on May 8-9 designed to tackle industry challenges.
The Nuclear Innovation Institute (NII) had a lot to celebrate at its launch event which included the announcement of Kinectrics, the first supplier to officially indicate its intent to join NII’s Founding Members Club, and become a part of Canada’s leading-edge nuclear applied research facility and centre of excellence for talent development and business innovation.
